so they were able to narrow down the study subjects to only those who drink soda pop and eat and drink nothing else then? so they know for a fact the diabetes was caused by the sugar then? not caused by smoking or eating a low fat high carb diet of wheat, flours, cereals and other high gi foods then? not caused for sure by lack of sunshine vitamin? or to much alcohol? or lack of exercise? or poor nutrtion overall? not caused by the stress of everyday life of hussle and bussle? humm I find this very interesting that they can say with certainty that sugar is the culprit. this is like saying driving cars causes obesity. whatevr you do always take studies and conclusions with a grain of salt.

According to the constitution the Supreme Court interprets the law. To argue this fact is anti-American. You cannot have atom bombs. The Court simply said no right is not absolute. Having a debate about where the line should be drawn on private ownership of weapons is an exercise in free speech. Inflammatory Rhetoric degrades the debate.

Mikey: With a good alarm system you huddle and hide in the bathroom hoping that the police get there in time. When you have a gun you huddle and hide in the bathroom not worrying about whether the police get there in time or not.

With the alarm system the police find the homeowner’s dead body in a hallway and start the paperwork.

With a gun the police find a startled and shaken homeowner standing over the body of some waste of flesh and start the paperwork.

See the difference?

Your opinion is correct, if all you take into account is the guns. However, if what you try to do is prevent the crime, a good, advertised alarm system trumps ANY gun.
